Biblical Villain’s Fortress Discovered in Israel’s North!
Israeli archaeologists believe that a structure discovered in northern Israel belonged to Sisera, an enemy commander who was slain by the Jewish heroine Yael.
Excavations near the Israeli town of Katzir appear to have revealed a fortress belonging to a Biblical villain named Sisera.
While the structure was first surveyed and excavated by prominent
Israeli archaeologist Prof. Adam Zertal around a decade ago,
construction to expand the nearby Arab town of El-Ahwat is threatening
to destroy on the historical site, which is around 3,000 years old.
Prof. Zertal identified the site as Haroshet Hagoyim, which is described in the Book of Judges as a Sisera’s fortress
Waves of Earthquakes, Aftershocks Continue to Shake America: Build Up to the Big One or Blessing in Disguise?
When folks across the eastern United States hear the term
“nor’easter” they typically think of snow. But the recent storm that
brushed the region’s coast left some thinking of a different word —
sand.
The brunt of the “no-name nor’easter,” as some are calling it,
focused on the coast of the Carolinas, particularly the Outer Banks.
“For much of the weekend, winds [were] gusting over 60 mph around
Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, fueling massive waves that demolished
dunes, exposing homes to the brutal surf,” AccuWeather National Weather
Reporter Jonathan Petramala said during a report on the AccuWeather TV
network.
The wind-whipped rain and large, crashing waves pummeled the
coastline and left destructive consequences, including for areas that
were recently slammed by Hurricane Dorian.
The turbulent seas pushed sand well inland, completely destroying some dunes in the process.
In the town Avon, North Carolina, a car was buried in about 4-5 feet of sand from one of the dunes, Petramala reported.
Nearby, a swimming pool was filled with sand, rather than water. It’s
safe to say that it will be a while before people are swimming in this
pool again.
“Those waves have closed Highway 12 since Saturday, the only
north-south highway here in the Outer Banks, essentially trapping
everyone from Rodanthe down into Hatteras, and also keeping visitors
out,” Petramala said.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation painstakingly pushed
back against the surf to plow all of the sand off of the highway, which
eventually reopened on Wednesday afternoon.
However, not all of the sand dunes were destroyed during the nor’easter.
“It’s really striking, the section of dune where there’s vegetation
stayed and those homes were protected. As soon as the vegetation was
weaker, that’s where these waves really crashed through,” Petramala
said. “Vegetation is really the key.”
“This is the third storm like this to batter the Outer Banks since
September, and it’s getting expensive because, once again, property
owners will need to dig out like they would for a blizzard,” Petramala
said.
“Except for the blizzard, the snow melts,” Mills added.
This parade of storms that has battered the Outer Banks has left some
homes in dangerous situations, facing potential destruction from future
storms.
“[Homeowners] said just a few years ago, were separated from the
ocean by a couple of dunes. Now at certain tides, high tide, they are
completely exposed to the water, there’s a lot of concern,” Petramala
said.
“Some of these homes are going to be collapsing into the sea, especially if you have some more of these nor’easters.”
And as AccuWeather Chief Broadcast Meteorologist Bernie Rayno pointed out, this may just be the beginning. “Unfortunately, the weather clock is ticking,” Rayno said. “We’re getting into the nor’easter time of the year. We’ve already had one. There’s going to be more on the way.” ↓source↓
Fox News: Noah’s Ark ‘buried in Turkish mountains’ as experts say 3D scans will prove Biblical ship’s existence 🤠< Interesting…
AGRI, TURKEY – OCTOBER 25: A general view of the area, which has allegedly trace of Noahs Ark on Mount Ararat, also known as Agri Mountain, in Agri, Turkey on October 25, 2017. Agri hosted International Symposium of Mount Ararat and Noah’s Ark. (Credit: Huseyin Yildiz/Anadolu Agency/Getty Images)
“The location of the real Noah’s Ark may have been confirmed by relic-hunters in a remote mountain range.
Experts claim they’ve snapped underground images of a mysterious ship-shaped object discovered half a century ago in eastern Turkey.
Creationists have long claimed that Noah’s legendary boat is buried beneath the rocky spot, known as the Durupınar site.
Not everyone is convinced though, with geologists claiming the mountainous lump is simply an unusual mountain formation.
Now a film crew led by long-time ark hunter Cem Sertesen say they’ve image whatever’s down there, according to the Turkish Anadolu Agency.
The team claim they’ll reveal the pictures, obtained by “sending electric signals underground via cables”, in a forthcoming documentary about the Ark.
“These are the actual images of Noah’s Ark,” said Sertesen, who previously released a documentary about finding the ark in 2017.
“They are neither fake nor simulation. They show the entire ship buried underground.”
According to legend, [“Legend” 🤔< Hmm?] Noah loaded two of every animal onto a 150-meter long ark to save them from apocalyptic flooding.”
We’ve inserted a picture of “Ark Encounter” and a link to “Answers in Genesis”. This is not from the Fox News article, but we thought it would be helpful… 🤠
“In the Book of Genesis, the mountains of Ararat in what is now eastern Turkey is the region in which Noah’s Ark comes to rest after the Great Flood.
Despite numerous expeditions to find the craft across the vast mountain range, no physical proof has emerged.
A popular focus of many searches is the Durupınar site, a 150-meter-long formation among the mountains.
Some creationists claim the bizarre object is the remains of Noah’s ship buried deep underground, while scientists argue it is a natural formation.
Now 3D scans of the object may prove once and for all whether Durupınar is as holy as some believe.
They were created by computer engineer and archaeologist Andrew Jones, as well as geophysicist John Larsen, in a bid to study the strange object.
Jones and Larsen shared their discoveries with Sertesen, director of the 2017 documentary “Noah’s Ark”.
Sertesen admitted that the images aren’t necessarily of Noah’s Ark, and could be of another ship entirely.
“It’s a ship, but it’s too early to be called Noah’s Ark,” he said.
That seems unlike considering the spot is over 50 miles from the nearest body of water.
The ship-shaped site was discovered in 1959 by Captain Ilhan Durupinar, an expert cartographer.
The first scientific research of the formation was performed only 26 years later, with researchers concluding that ”it is highly likely that the formation underground is a ship.”
It’s not clear when Sertesen’s documentary will air.”
Netanyahu indicted: A-G to charge PM with bribery, fraud, breach of trust 🤔
Opinion: This is all a crock of Bovine Scatology like the Trump Impeachment trial!
Mandelblit and his team have been working on drafting the indictments to charge Netanyahu before a third election would begin.
Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit announced his final indictment on Thursday against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, making him the first prime minister in Israeli history to be indicted while still in office.Bezeq and Walla! owner Shaul Elovitch and his wife, Iris, were also indicted for bribery and obstruction of justice. In addition, the owner of Yediot Ahronot, Arnon Nuni Mozes, was indicted for bribery. The indictment decision could alter the course of negotiations over forming a new government and who will be the new prime minister in the current 21 days Knesset process on the issue.
GLAAD: Chick-Fil-A Cave Not Enough, Must Disavow Itself
One of the nation’s largest gay advocacy organizations is greeting Chick-Fil-A’s divestment from Christian charities like the Salvation Army with tepid praise and further demands, including an “unequivocal” denunciation of the brand’s history and values.
Chick-Fil-A
GLAAD (whose name is an acronym for its former title, “Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation”) demanded “safe workplaces for LGBTQ employees” and an apparent denunciation of the Christian ministry Focus on the Family, responding to Chick-Fil-A’s decision to stop donating to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program for needy children and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which serves historically black colleges and universities (HCBUs).
Protesting Chick-Fil-A opening in Canada
The full statement from Drew Anderson, GLAAD’s director of campaigns and rapid response, names more steps the fast-food chain must take to prove its genuine repentance:
• If Chick-Fil-A is serious about their pledge to stop holding hands with divisive anti-LGBTQ activists, then further transparency is needed regarding their deep ties to organizations like Focus on the Family, which exist purely to harm LGBTQ people and families.
• Chick-Fil-A investors, employees, and customers can greet today’s announcement with cautious optimism, but should remember that similar press statements were previously proven to be empty.
• In addition to refraining from financially supporting anti-LGBTQ organizations, Chick-Fil-A still lacks policies to ensure safe workplaces for LGBTQ employees and should unequivocally speak out against the anti-LGBTQ reputation that their brand represents.
LGBT protesting Chick-Fil-A
The Salvation Army expressed dismay Monday afternoon, calling LGBT advocates’ allegations “ill-informed” about the organization’s actual stance:
“We’re saddened to learn that a corporate partner has felt it necessary to divert funding to other hunger, education and homelessness organizations — areas in which The Salvation Army, as the largest social services provider in the world, is already fully committed,” the organization said in a statement Monday afternoon.
The Salvation Army said that it serves more than 23 million individuals a year, including those in the queer community. The group said that it believes it is “the largest provider of poverty relief to the LGBTQ+ population.”
“When misinformation is perpetuated without fact, our ability to serve those in need, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or any other factor, is at risk. We urge the public to seek the truth before rushing to ill-informed judgment.”
The move also sparked backlash from conservatives, who characterized the decision as a “cave” rather than a prudent olive branch. Christian satire site The Babylon Bee mocked the company’s management with a tongue-in-cheek post titled “Chick-Fil-A Trades Adoring Christian Fans For Outraged Mob That Won’t Be Appeased Until Their Every Demand Is Met.”
“Chick-fil-A has sacrificed its Christian fans in favor of an outraged mob that will stop at nothing to destroy them,” the parody article reads. “[CEO Dan] Cathy said the Christian fans have been great, but it’s boring just having loyal fans who support you through thick and thin, and he’d much rather have fans who stage die-ins and cancel you when you don’t cave in.”
The reference to “die-ins” recalls recent protests against the company as it opens international locations. A grand opening in Toronto, Canada, was met by activists who lay down in front of the store’s entrance — possibly in sincere belief of an online hoax claiming Chick-fil-A backed a Ugandan bill that would punish homosexual sex acts with execution.
Last month, Chick-fil-A unsuccessfully tried to open its first location in the United Kingdom. After a pressure campaign from left-wing activists and lawmakers, in a campaign dubbed “Get the Cluck Out,” the Reading, England, shopping center that hosted this Chick-fil-A store announced it would not renew its six-month lease with the chain. ↓source↓
Chick-fil-A to stop donating to Salvation Army as LGBT pressure continues
Fast-food favorite Chick-fil-A will no longer donate to The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, according to a Monday announcement.
“We made multi-year commitments to both organizations and we fulfilled those obligations in 2018,” a spokeswoman for Chick-fil-A told the Thomson Reuters Foundation, adding the company would focus its giving on “education, homelessness and hunger.”
“Additionally, the
Foundation will no longer make multiyear commitments and will reassess
its philanthropic partnerships annually to allow maximum impact. These
partners could include faith-based and non-faith-based charities,”
according to a web statement on Monday.
Chick-fil-A has been targeted by LGBTQ groups over the donations. For example, students at West Linn High School in Oregon staged a walkout because the company’s food truck was allowed to be at football games.
The
Chick-fil-A Foundation has donated millions to both Christian
organizations, according to Reuters. It has committed $9 million to
initiatives supporting education and fighting homelessness and hunger in
2020, according to its website.

Salvation Army Fires Back After Chick-fil-A Ends Partnership with the American Charity
FaithWire – Not long after the Salvation Army bell
ringers began their volunteer work this morning, Chick-fil-A announced
it would no longer be partnering with the beloved and iconic American
charity. The decision from the Atlanta-based restaurant chain, whose
core mission is “to glorify God,” came the same day the Salvation Army
kicked off its 129th Red Kettle Campaign, an annual initiative
synonymous with the holiday season in the U.S.
In the fiscal year 2018, Chick-fil-A donated $115,000 to the Salvation Army. But that will be no more, according to a statement released
Monday by the quick-service restaurant. The brand plans to “deepen its
giving to a smaller number of organizations,” and that no longer
includes the 154-year-old Salvation Army.
“We’re saddened to learn that a corporate partner has felt it necessary to divert funding to other hunger, education, and homelessness organizations — areas in which the Salvation Army, as the largest social services provider in the world, is already fully committed,” read a statement from the Salvation Army, according to CNN.

Opinion: The statement is particularly biting because Chick-fil-A said it was ending the partnership with The Salvation Army in order to focus on “education, homelessness, and hunger.” Clearly, the above statement from the Salvation Army is referencing this fact.

US Rejects ‘Illegal’ Status of Judea and Samaria Communities
Secretary of State Pompeo announced on Monday that the U.S. no longer deems Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria “illegal.”
On Monday, United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo revoked a 1978 State Department opinion called the Hansell Memorandum, which claimed that civilian settlements in Judea and Samaria are “inconsistent with international law.” The move will likely anger Palestinians and put the U.S. at odds with nations that favor their position.

Over 140 mysterious new geoglyphs have been discovered in Nazca, Peru, including strange ‘humanoid’ figures.
Researchers from Japan’s Yamagata University discovered 142 new glyphs. An additional new geoglyph was discovered using artificial intelligence from IBM Japan running on one of the tech giant’s Power Systems servers. The technology helped researchers reveal the location of the humanoid figure, who appears to be brandishing some form of club.

Other new glyphs show a two-headed snake that appears to be devouring two people, a bird, a fish and another humanoid.
The new geoglyphs date from the Initial Nazca period between 100 B.C. and 100 A.D. and the Early Nazca Period from 100 A.D. to 300 A.D.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 249 miles south of Lima, the Lines are regarded as one of archaeology’s great mysteries. The lines are scratched into the dark ground to reveal the lighter-colored earth underneath and are best viewed from the air. They depict a range of animals, plants, imaginary beings and geometric figures.
Etched into the ground by pre-Inca people, the Nazca Lines date from 400 B.C. to 1000 A.D. Mystery, however, still swirls around why they were created. Theories include that they are a primitive Sun calendar, an irrigation system or even an alien landing strip, according to LiveScience.
West Virginia firefighters find untouched Bibles in church fire: ‘Though odds were against us, God was not’ – Published March 4, 2019
A West Virginia church went up in a blaze early Sunday morning, but the Bibles inside remained untouched by the flames.
A church fire in West Virginia left firefighters stunned when they found Bibles untouched by the flames.
Early Sunday morning, the Coal City Fire Department responded to a fire at the Freedom Ministries Church in Grandview, a town in the mountains of West Virginia.
“Picture this, a building so hot that at one point in time, firefighters had to back out,” the fire department wrote on Facebook. “In your mind, everything should be burned, ashes.”

But the firefighters said not a single Bible was burned. Not a single cross was harmed. Not a single firefighter was hurt.
“Though odds were against us, God was not,” the firefighters said, offering prayers for the pastor and congregation.
And in a Facebook post, Freedom Ministries wrote that “in the midst of the smoke you can see Jesus. He was there with us!”
We have a heavy heart this morning, our church had a fire last night. We will have to rebuild but we will be ok. We will fight the enemy and not let him hold us down. We are coming back from Shabbach be at the church at 6-6:15pm. Please join us in prayer. We want to rally together and pray for Pastor Phil and Candice. Also our church family! If you have any questions about meeting and praying please message myself, Jessica, or Stacie. We love you all, Bethany ** in the midst of the smoke you can see Jesus. The congregation views it as a time to rally together and give back.
“We will fight the enemy and not let him hold us down,” they wrote.
